The Rhode Island Brewing Society is hosting its first charity event to support the Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Foundation!
The event will take place this Saturday, October 14, from 12-5 pm at Green Acres [51 Farm St, North Smithfield]. Admission is a $10 donation at the door, which will give you a commemorative tasting glass. Your newly-owned tasting glass will allow you to receive pours of a variety of creative and tasty homebrewed beer.
The main event will be a “Brewathlon.” Participants will be put through an obstacle course full of brewing-related tasks to determine the “Best Brewer.”
Many great raffle prizes donated from our generous sponsors: Apponaug Brewing Co. • Black Pond Brews • Bog Iron Brewing • Bottles Fine Wine • Buttonwoods Brewery • Crave Mead • Crooked Current Brewery • The Dapper Barber Shop • GCB • Kretschmann Brewery & Beer Garden • Ravenous Brewing Company • Sons of Liberty Beer & Spirits Co. • Tessier’s General Store • Union Station Brewery • Whalers Brewing Company • The Wickenden Pub
